Dr. Meghan Harris was born and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia. She began her career in veterinary medicine during a mentorship in high school and she has been dedicated to caring and treating animals ever since. She graduated with a Bachelors in Science from Virginia Tech before attending St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine and then spent a clinical year at NC State Veterinary School. Since graduating in 2012, she briefly worked at a practice in Virginia but has spent the last 5 years in Houston, Texas. Dr. Harris is excited to be back near the water but especially eager to join the Palm City Animal Medical Center team and care for your four legged family members. Her professional interests include dentistry, opthamology and aurgery. When not at the hospital you can find her kayaking or hiking with her Labrador, Thor.
